This Unicable splitter supports bidirectional distribution of DC and RF signals. It enables control signals and DiSEqC commands sent from the Set Top Boxes to the LNB as well as DiSEqC commands sent from the LNB to the Set Top Box. This high-quality Unicable splitter features low insertion loss, high RF isolation between the output ports and allows greater flexibility in single home or MDU installation scenarios. Typically, the splitter would be installed at a central location (i.e. roof’s attic) with separate coax cables stretched inside the house/apartment to each Set Top Box. The Unicable splitter embeds protective diodes to guarantee DC isolation between connected set top boxes.
